TWO WEEKS TODAY 👰‍♀️❤️

After years of catering other people’s weddings, it’s nearly my turn to be on the other side of the kitchen door.

Apparently my only jobs are to turn up, marry Ian and enjoy myself.

No checking food temperatures.
No counting portions.
No asking where the serving spoons are.
No disappearing into the kitchen “just to have a quick look”. 😂

Can a caterer actually switch off at her own wedding?

We’ll find out in 14 days… 👀

We’re professional caterers. Professional photographers/ content creators? Absolutely not. Mostly we’re just trying to get everybody fed on time 😂

We’re professional caterers.
We are NOT professional photographers.

Lighting? Whatever the kitchen gives us.
Composition? Point the phone vaguely at the food.
Camera angles? Usually whatever we can manage while carrying three trays.
Content strategy? QUICK — TAKE A PHOTO BEFORE SOMEONE EATS IT. 🤣

And somehow we’re also supposed to be content creators, videographers, editors, social media managers and marketing experts… while actually running a small business and, you know, doing the catering.

So for every beautifully styled photo you see on here, just know there are approximately 47 blurry, badly lit, wonky BTS photos sitting in my camera roll. 😂

We may not always get the shot…

…but we DO get the food out on time. 👩‍🍳🙌

Spent the day at the trade show tasting our way through everything from w**e pairings to Southern fried chicken to (yes) a beans-and-nachos mashup we didn’t know we needed 🤯
