The biggest problem facing most competitions and events in 2022, is recruiting judges.
The judging/events crew are PIVOTAL to the success of all events as without them, the events simply could not happen!
At our previous events weve been fortunate enough to call on a fantastic team of judges who give up a day or two of their weekend solely to give back to the community and to help the event happen, and as organisers it cant be stated enough, how incredibly appreciated this is!!!
Our last event had its fair share if challenges, and if i told you that we had 14 judges unable to attend for various reasons, im not sure you would believe me, but we did!
We called upon spectators to jump in and help, and to those that did, we thank you wholeheartedly!
This year, weve thought long and hard about how to solve this. As September’s event is one day only, we are going to offer a limited number of tickets at a VASTLY reduced price (enough to help cover costs) to allow people the opportunity to both COMPETE & JUDGE.
Our expectation is that 2 athletes per team will be available at any one time to help judge the heats they are not competing in!
Judging teams will receive the same benefits as the non-competing judging team.
We hope this goes some way to help recruit judges and makes the day as full and entertaining for participants as possible!
