Joshua & Cleo... what a day! 🎉

After tying the knot in Las Vegas, Joshua and Cleo brought the celebrations home to 🎰➡️💍 celebrate with all their family and friends at Branston Golf & Country Club.

And what a party it was!

A beautiful blessing, great food, plenty of laughter, and a dancefloor packed from start to finish. The DJ was dropping absolute anthem after anthem — the sort of tunes that make it impossible to stay sat down! 🕺💃

What I loved most about this day was how they did things completely their way. No pressure, no rigid schedule, no endless posing. Just a relaxed atmosphere, quality time with their favourite people, and lots of genuine moments.

We kept the photography natural and unobtrusive, capturing the laughter, hugs, dance moves and everything in between, with just a few family groups and couple portraits to create those timeless keepsakes.

We were also treated to an incredible golden hour, giving us some stunning portraits, plus some epic drone shots that really show off the venue and the atmosphere of the day.

What a way to finish the run of weddings before holiday mode kicked in!

Simran & Aaron's incredible Indian fusion wedding had absolutely everything. Sunshine, amazing food, stunning decor, great people, and the perfect blend of traditional English and Indian wedding celebrations.

And honestly... THIS is exactly why I'm always banging on about doing your wedding YOUR way.

The highlight? (Apart from that ridiculously good golden hour!)

🥁 The Dhol Drummers.
💃 The 30-minute dance break.
🔥 Absolute scenes.

Years ago, when I was DJing weddings, I always loved Indian celebrations because the energy is something else. The drummers brought the same magic here. Just like a great sax player can transform a dancefloor, Dhol drummers take it to a whole different level. The atmosphere becomes completely infectious and before you know it, everyone is involved.

From the ceremony and confetti to cake cutting, incredible food, dancing and those dreamy golden hour portraits, this day had the perfect balance of chilled moments and full-throttle celebration.

Different cultures.
Different traditions.
Different personalities.

One amazing wedding.

And that's exactly how it should be.

Sono tornato! I'm back!

A catch up after an amazing week away in Rome, Italy!

A few jobs including some wedding sneak peeks flying out this week ahead of this weekends wedding!

Meetings.... emails on the to do list right after wash hair! On it!!

In other IG related head space...

I've decided to get out now my comfort zone to film more videos ad hoc, limited editing. Just get out my phone, film, post! No messing! Well, very little! Otherwise I'll over think it and never to it as I get editing tunnel vision and neglect the IG grid!

1️⃣ Group shots
A drone lets me position everyone properly so you’re not all squinting straight into the sun! It also creates a fun, unique perspective that stands out from the standard lineup shot.

2️⃣ Showing off your venue
You’ve invested in an amazing wedding venue — let’s show it some love! Aerial shots add context, scale and beauty to your gallery.

3️⃣ Setting the scene
Drone shots capture the full atmosphere of the day. The gardens, outdoor drinks, tipi setups, fire pits, countryside views, guests mingling… all the little details that tell the full story.

4️⃣ Perspective changes everything
Sometimes a photo looks great from the ground… but from above? 🔥 HERO SHOT territory. Aerial images can completely elevate a moment into something epic.

5️⃣ Epic golden hour creativity
I can’t fly… but the drone can 😜
Using a drone to capture those stunning golden hour rooftop-style shots from above creates a completely different cinematic feel that’s hard to achieve any other way.

That said… drones can’t always be used 🚫
Rain, unsafe winds, restricted airspace, secure locations, flight paths or venue restrictions can all stop flights from happening safely and legally.

Always make sure your wedding photographer is insured, qualified and licensed to fly responsibly.

Sometimes wedding photography is all about reacting fast, trusting experience and knowing when to change the plan. ☁️🔥

This was one of those moments at Colwick Hall we almost missed this shot completely.

The original timeline had the first dance happening earlier, but watching the sky closely, I knew the sunset colour was building in the right direction. We made the call to delay things slightly… and within minutes the sky exploded with this unreal colour.

Wait any longer? Gone!
The sun would’ve disappeared behind thicker dark cloud and the magic would’ve vanished with it.

That’s the difference experience makes. Knowing when to pivot, when to move fast, and when a 5 minute change can turn a lovely photo into something unforgettable.

Wedding days don’t always go to plan. Weather changes. Timings shift. Light disappears fast. Being flexible and calm under pressure is a HUGE part of getting those “wow” moments without turning your day into a photoshoot marathon.

And the best bit? We still got them back to the party quickly for the dancefloor chaos afterwards 😜

Your day. Your way. But with someone ready to react when the magic appears.

Not every day is wedding chaos and dancefloor carnage… 😜

Today was a proper mix of business life behind the scenes — pre-wedding meetings, editing, wedding prep, and updating headshots for a brilliant local business team I’ve worked with for the last 3–4 years.

As new staff join, we keep everything consistent with their existing branding, website style, and reception display boards so the whole business keeps that polished, professional look.

Fresh professional headshots make SUCH a difference for websites, LinkedIn, social media, marketing, and first impressions.

So yes… not just weddings around here! 📸

Not only did she get alpacas… but two surprise baby alpacas made their debut appearance thanks to the legends at Clary Meadow Alpacas. Honestly… scenes. 🦙

Add in ci**rs, a retro gaming setup (yes, Street Fighter got competitive 👊), and the photobooth madness from In the Frame Photobooths… and you’ve got a full-on, all-day party with zero holding back.

This is what happens when couples trust the process, ditch the rulebook, and just go for it.

Oh..... the dance routine to Swifty! Legends!

Wedding supplier footwear!

Following a recent story post I had a few people asking what I thought of these after wearing these Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 black trainers.

It's always a toss up between comfort and smartness on a wedding day. Personally, as I don't keep still and clock up many steps, feet comfort comes top by a country mile! I'm pretty sure my couples would rather I had clean comfy footwear on so I'm not limping into the evening and not wanting to circulate to get content, right?

Anyway, these fit the bill after a Chat GTP convo and research comparing many brands like Skechers (arch fit), On, Hoka, Nike, Merrill and many more.

The fact that Chat GTP now know my job, body niggles etc is both weird and amazing that when I ask a question, it's always related back to a full wedding day and / or editing!!

Skynet has spoken! (And I agree!)
