✨Kiss me✨a piano cover…

One of the songs I loved listening to in my teenage years is by Sixpence None the Richer — and recently I’ve had the pleasure of performing this romantic classic for couples who’ve chosen it as part of their special day.

On this occasion, I recorded it at the gorgeous Blackbrook Barns in Staffordshire while preparing for Melanie & Jonathan’s wedding in Autumn 2025. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful acoustic of the Ceremony room made it such a special place to capture this recording 🤍

As I play, I always find myself quietly singing along in my head to the lyrics that perfectly complement this melody. My favourite passage will always be the one that captures the magic of love so simply and beautifully:

“Kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon’s sparkling
So, kiss me”

Welcome to the Year of the Horse 🐎 — a year of strength, freedom to chasing dreams with confidence, running toward new opportunities, & embracing growth with courage.

To mark the occasion, I share here a piano version of Mō Lì Huā
(Jasmine Flower). Performed at the beautiful West Mill, Derbyshire when I were there earlier this month!

Originally from the Qing Dynasty, this song has become well-known in China & was one which had been sung in the opening ceremonies of the Beijing 2008 Olympics!

I’ll always cherish the moment we shared by the piano, where I had the joy of performing once again your walk-down-the-aisle song from Beauty & the Beast — a melody so full of love and meaning.

A soft pause to savour forever 🕊️🕊️

For Hannah & Luke 🤍
�Last month, December 2025, they exchanged vows and promised forever, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

As the drinks reception came to a close, there was a quiet moment — just the two of them — before the celebrations continued.

It was then that I asked if I could play for them once more the very song I performed earlier in the ceremony — ‘Glasgow Love Theme’ (written by Craig Armstrong).
The song Hannah chose to walk down the aisle beside her Dad, a melody that holds deep meaning for Luke.

Giving them the moment
to breathe in the love
& mark the beginning of forever 🤍

Watching their reactions as I played is something I’ll never forget.

It is moments like this I owe so much gratitude to my parents for giving me the chance to learn the piano as a child… For the gift of being able to offer something so personal — a memory woven into their day, and one of many they will carry with them with joy for years to come.

To the couples I have had the privilege performing for, I want to share a very heartfelt Thank You for giving me that chance.

Which song would you Walk down the Aisle to?

Well for Hollie, it was ‘Can’t help falling in Love’… her Grandad’s favourite song 🥹

I remember when she shared that with me the first we had spoken together in 2023 and could feel how much this song meant to her.

Ever since, I was so excited for the moment when I could finally perform it for her on the day of her & Joshua’s wedding in summer 2025 at the beautiful Ringwood Hall manor house hotel, Derbyshire.

And so happy to have been able to capture a recording of this very special moment which I have loved watching over and over again, as it brings so emotions of joy & laughter (with the kids opening comments at the beginning!), to the hugs & tears that then followed as it all began to sink in ❤️

Once again, many congratulations to you Hollie & Joshua 🥂

My Thank You’s for 2025 & Excitement for 2026!

2025 has been a very special year and I want to start by raising a toast 🥂 to all my wedding couples, family & friends who have all played a big part in making the year for me what it was.

Every day I count the blessings for all the love, encouragement and support from my wife Rosangela & our son Gabriel, my family & friends that enable me to do the very things I Love doing 🙏🏻❤️

For the wedded couples I had the privilege performing for, a very BIG THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for placing your trust & faith in me to perform during your most special day. Every wedding has had many wonderful moments I’ll think of very fondly ❤️🙏🏻

A very special shout-out to Emily-Rose Wedding and Events Singer too who I’ve been so delighted to have performed with more with as our 🎙️🎹 duo for 2025 weddings which has been fab, especially following our official duo launch up in 2024 ☺️

It was also a joy to have performed with the very talented Bianca - a truly wonderful singer I’ve continued to enjoy following too!

Arriving to the sound of Classical piano…

During weddings I have performed at over the Summer & Autumn 2025, I have had a number of requests from couples to include a variety of Classical pieces of music, especially during the Ceremony as guests arrive to take their seats.

Having trained as a Classical pianist, when I am requested to do so this is very special, as it brings me back to moments in my earlier musical journey performing this at my school, churches, theatres & university halls.

Here in the video I share a recording performing a piece called ‘Nocturne in E flat major, Opus 9, No. 2’ written by Frédéric Chopin.

Performing as guests arrived to take their seats for J & R’s wedding ceremony at the beautiful Harlaxton Manor, Lincolnshire.

Walking down the aisle to ‘You are the reason’

Earlier this Autumn, I had the privilege performing for Kate & Mark’s wedding at the Amalfi White, located in the beautiful village of Melbourne, South Derbyshire.

I provided live piano throughout their Ceremony, Drinks Reception & Wedding Breakfast.

For her moment walking down the aisle, she wanted me to perform this track by Calum Scott.

It truly was an emotional moment. One I enjoyed dedicating for her and hope it’s one you enjoy watching / listening too ☺️

As we walk in ✨Fields of Gold✨

Last month I had the pleasure of returning to Donington Park Farmhouse to perform for Alice & Joseph’s Ceremony & Drinks reception. So incredibly special that day was ❤️

Whilst setting up prior to the Ceremony, I took the opportunity to do a mini recording of a song that gets me feeling so emotional every time I hear it.

It’s a song I’ve heard covered and sung by so many wonderful musicians, so I wanted to share my personal version too, which I hope anyone who comes across this may enjoy listening too x
