If you've run out of things to do (and money π
), give The Place to Play a go in Reddish, Β£1.50 per child and there's lots to do for all ages!! Places like these need the support of their community to keep being able to charge such small prices π I have no link to the business, but took the girls and see how hard they're working to build an inclusive play area for the local ocmmunityπ
Evening everyone we are currently looking at the pricing system as one off Inclusive For All's values is "affordability" we want families to access our offer without worrying if they can afford it or not!
But we obviously have overheads to cover so do require an income to meet these overheads ..
We will be working hard to access funds to provide some low cost or even free events and family based workshops especially in run up to Halloween and Christmas but funding applications do take time to process and actually be lucky enough to be awarded
funding.
This takes us to the big question .. Entry charge .π¬π¬
We want to be as fair as possible and for rest of August entry will be Β£1.50 per child!
This takes us to deciding on what to charge from then onwards ..
We have decided we will offer 3 x 1.5 hour sessions during the week on Mondays, Wednesdays , Thursdays and Fridays
Session Time slots will be
9.30-11am 12 children
11.30-1pm 12 children
1.30-3pm 12 children
Saturday and Sunday session times will be
10-11.30am -12 children
12-2.30pm -12 children
3-5.30pm will be reserved for party bookings or private hire for exclusive use
We have researched entry charges for other play centres that offer multi sensory, role play, crafts, motor skills sessions and average is around Β£7-Β£8 per child π³π³
We will NOT be charging that we will instead be charging .. 1.5 hour session -Β£5 for 1 child or Β£10 per family (upto 3 children per family extra Β£1 per extra child if over 3 children in family group)
We will then be offering an after school family session 4-6pm Mondays and Thursdays -Β£5 for one child ,Β£10 for family upto 3 children and if more than 3 children Β£1 per extra child.
These charges are a suggestion to all our followers to see what your views are on these costs and if you feel they are fair ?
