SALUTE TO THE FORCES IS BACK FOR 2027 — WITH NEW DATES AND A BRAND-NEW VENUE!

After our first Salute to the Forces, we listened, we learned, and we’ve been working incredibly hard behind the scenes on what comes next…
And we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Salute to the Forces 2027 is heading to QUEX PARK! 🎉🇬🇧
Our new venue gives us the opportunity to grow the event and bring you even more of what makes Salute such a fantastic family weekend.

🇬🇧 WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! 🇬🇧

Now that we’ve had a little time to reflect on Salute to the Forces 2026, we’d really love to hear from those of you who joined us over the weekend.

As our first year, there were lots of things we were incredibly proud of, as well as things we know we can learn from and improve.

What a weekend... and what an incredible way to launch the very first Salute to the Forces.

To everyone who came along, supported the event, volunteered, exhibited, performed, traded, sponsored, displayed vehicles or worked behind the scenes – thank you. You all helped create something truly special.

Over the weekend, families, friends and supporters came together to enjoy living history, incredible displays, military and classic vehicles, tank and jeep rides, music, dancing, Comic Con, family entertainment and so much more. Most importantly, people came together with a shared appreciation for our history, our heritage and one another.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible team of volunteers. From months of planning beforehand to the early starts, late finishes and everything in between, you gave your time, energy and enthusiasm without hesitation. Whether you were marshalling, parking cars, setting up, clearing down, answering questions, helping visitors or quietly keeping everything running behind the scenes, you were the heartbeat of this event. Your dedication and commitment did not go unnoticed, and Salute to the Forces simply would not have happened without you.

We'd also like to give a special shout-out to the cadets, who were a real credit to themselves and their organisations. Their professionalism, willingness to help and positive attitude throughout the weekend were outstanding, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they did.

Our sincere thanks also go to Betteshanger Park, Bars 4 Events our charities, sponsors and all of our partners who supported the event. Your belief in what we were trying to achieve and your support throughout the journey helped make the very first Salute to the Forces a reality.

This was the very first Salute to the Forces, and while no first event is ever perfect, we're incredibly proud of what we achieved together. We'll take everything we've learned and all of your valuable feedback into planning Salute to the Forces 2027, with the aim of making it even bigger and better.

Until then, thank you for your kindness, your encouragement and for helping create such a welcoming atmosphere throughout the weekend.

⭐👻 From a galaxy far, far away to paranormal investigations... BAY12 is bringing movie magic to Salute to the Forces 2026! 👻⭐
Get ready to meet BAY12, the film display and cosplay division of MC2-E2.
Run by a couple with a passion for costumes, props and special effects, BAY12 loves sharing their collection with fellow fans while supporting some incredible charities along the way.
This year's display includes:
⭐ GRUMMGAR from Star Wars: The Force Awakens – a Guinness World Record-holding costume. 👻 Slimer's Hot Dog Cart display. 🚐 The ECTO-19 Mobile Containment Unit.
Think you've seen it all? Keep your eyes peeled... there are often hidden screen-used costumes and props tucked away amongst the display for eagle-eyed fans to discover.
Whether you're a Star Wars fan, a Ghostbusters enthusiast, or simply love incredible displays, make sure BAY12 is on your list of must-see attractions!
