I've wanted to grab a pic of the Milky Way for years. . This weekend I was laid out in't mothers garden in't middle of the night star gazing. . Then all of a sudden the street lights went off, reducing the light pollution.... Then I saw it, the Milky Way right above faintly....Ran inside to get my camera.
So here is my first attempt at capturing the Milky Way, from of all places, my mothers garden

When I first started out with photography, it was just landscapes.
I never for one minute thought I'd be brave enough to move into shooting people. I've now done quite a few weddings and family shoots and I'm really enjoying it.
A step out of the comfort zone is good for the soul.
