25 years. One incredible team member.
Today, we'd like to recognise someone who has quietly been at the heart of Astley Bank Hotel for the past 25 years.
Our Kitchen Porter, Dave, has been a constant presence behind the scenes, working tirelessly day in and day out. While guests may not always see the work that goes into keeping a busy kitchen running, people who work alongside him know just how invaluable he is.
Dave takes enormous pride in his job, especially his deep cleans. He never looks for recognition, never seeks the spotlight, he simply turns up every day with a strong work ethic, gets on with the job, and does it to the very best of his ability. His dedication, reliability and commitment have earned the respect of everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him.
In an industry where people often move on after a few months, 25 years of loyal service is something truly special. Dave has been part of countless weddings, celebrations, family meals and memorable occasions, playing a vital role in making them all possible.
Uncle Dave, thank you for everything you've done over the last quarter of a century. Astley Bank Hotel simply wouldn't be the same without you.
