I'm terrible at updating social media lately , I must try hard but how about these pictures from Fini's Kitchen and Willowbeck Lodge yesterday, we had sunshine and showers but for a wedding with some incredible pictures well this venue is a winner !

4 years ! Today a massive shout out to Breige Cobane who put together our highlights video. When you marry on a budget it's hard to know what to include and what to save on. This was a wonderful investment for us as it captures so much and so many of our special people

If it looks like we had a secret ceremony with our boys then did a surprise reveal at our local 5k run in a park having got everyone there under false pretences .. then it's done its job because that's exactly what happened

Shout out to the crochet massive !

I am shamelessly using my page followers but for good I promise.

Can any of my northwest followers of Corinne Firth-Surkitt - Funeral Celebrant and Weddings by Corinne Firth-Surkitt crochet ?

If so, I need your help, the crochet group I'm part of are trying to make 600 of these bags for use at The Christie Hospital for the equipment used to deliver chemotherapy to patients.

If I know you personally I can collect from you or otherwise message me a local Funeral directors or wedding venue near you that I could arrange to collect them from.

Loved this back drop at a recent vow renewal, simply perfect for the day

If you still do and you want to share that with family and friends to reminisce about the first time or to involve new people this time then chat to me.

The great thing about a vow renewal is whatever went well at the wedding we can recreate and any bits you didn't like well we can leave those out , it's the perfect blend to great a special "I still do" day

Doesn't the room at The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery look fabulous all dressed up , this was my office for the day on Friday afternoon.

Vow renewals are always very special because they come with so many layers of storytelling , of old love, the every day love and the new love that happens with each passing year

**all weddings and vow renewals must now include a tiger**

I am so sorry to throw this last minute on to my upcoming couples as I know it's something else to think about on an already busy day but I really don't want to compromise on this one.

No tiger = no Corinne

So I will definitely be wanting more bookings at the wonderful setting of the The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery , loved working there this afternoon

What does a wedding Celebrant do when they've finished marrying people for the day ?....

Go and sing, dance and feel so happy at The Lottery Winners gig at Leigh Sports Village. Him indoors and I have been following them for a good while now and it was great to be at their largest gig yet 😀 , and to wear my self made crochet daisy necklace ... I made one for a friends little girl but then wanted one for myself

The secret of marriage might well be being comfortable to go to gigs , do our own thing, meet up with our various friends and then meet up at the end to compare photos

So this week it was my birthday, him indoors did good and got me flowers from my favourite florists - Ewood Florist and in my wedding branding colours of green and white (that was probably not intentional).

If any of my local couples aren't sorted for flowers go and have a natter to the team there.
