Come to Middleton Hall Retirement Village for their railway-themed exhibition and see a working diorama of Fighting C***s Station.

Our wonderful Track the Trains winners with their prizes!

For the residential winners, we gave them vouchers for Leila’s Autentico Italiano and MJ's Cake Cafe, keeping it in the heart of our community.

For Middleton St George WI, who coordinated all the incredible volunteers creating yarn bombing and bunting throughout the village, we gave an Amazon voucher to get something useful for their hut or future projects.

And for St George's C of E Academy and Middleton St George Day Nursery, we gave book tokens, so that all the children can enjoy the prize for years to come.

Thanks again to all who participated!

🚂 Best Community Entry: Middleton St George WI for their stunning yarn bombing adorning the entire community, and their massive knitted Locomotion No.1 on display all week.

🚂 Special mentions: St George's C of E Academy for the whole-school effort to recreate a display of all the first 1825 passengers and crowd, and Middleton St George Day Nursery for their painting and model train.

🫶🏻 Huge thanks to everyone who entered, everyone who went round and saw them all, and everyone who voted - what a wonderful community-wide event!
