🚗 Important Parking Notice – Saturday, October 11th 🚗

This Saturday will be very busy at Blackwell Meadows, with both rugby and football matches taking place!

Parking will be limited, especially for anyone arriving close to 3pm, so please:
✅ Share lifts where possible
✅ Use alternative transport if you can
✅ Follow the guidance of our stewards – they’re there to keep everyone safe, both drivers and pedestrians

After the football match finishes, pedestrians will have priority, and vehicle movement will be paused for a short time.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation – let’s make it a great day for everyone at Blackwell Meadows! 🏉⚽

Tonight we hosted our first-ever girls-only training session for school years 4, 5 & 6 at Blackwell Meadows and what a fantastic turnout! 💪🏉

Ready to Ref? 🏉🏉 Durham County Rugby Union Referees Society

Ready to start your refereeing journey?

We have our first Ready2Ref course of the season booked in.

The course costs £40/person. but we will reimburse the cost to those who attend and complete the course.

The day is a mix of indoor and outdoor learning and there are e-learning modules to complete prior to the course. Deadline for booking onto the course is 4th November 2025 and you MUST be over 14 years old to complete the course
