Hey guys sad day today on CityLive Radio
I just want to say thank you to citylive radio for having me on the air and playing all sorts of music been good 5 years. To play The Red Bearded Viking Show 2021 for you all and to all the bands Thank you soooo much for trusting me with your music please keep in contact and hopefully see you guys down the line this is not farewell this is see you in future.

This hasn't been an easy decision, but due to the excessive increase in licensing costs that have occurred in the past year. We have made the decision to close our radio station.
The plan was to continue with our USA, Canada and Mexico broadcasts until we could come to some resolution with our UK license. However, other factors have played a part and we cannot continue to broadcast.
We have overcome so many hurdles to keep CityLIVE Radio on-air since our launch in November 2019, including people trying to tarnish our reputation, and making false claims regarding our licensing situation.
Even though we have always been an internet station, it hasn't stopped us from gaining over 30,000 listeners a month within our first year, that continued to rise over the past six years. This can only be credited to our team of volunteers, the amazing shows we broadcast and you the listener for giving us your feedback to the type of radio station you wanted, for which we listened and delivered on our promises.
All we can say now is a HUGE thank you to everyone and hopefully we maybe back in the future. Until then, goodbye for now.
