Catherine & Glenn | Askham Hall | Highlight film

My first trip to Askham hall & it didn’t disappoint. The venue and its grounds is absolutely stunning which was only made better when you get paired with the likes of who knew all the best spots! Not only did I have such a laid back / out going couple to shoot all day but their friends, family and dogs were on hands to add that extra “magic” to the day. Shoutout to Heather (if you know you know).

For anyone that knows me will know that I am SOLD if there’s a hanging light bulb.

// 2023 //

If I had to describe my 2023 wedding season in 3 words it would be WET / BOLD // GROWTH

- WET because 97% of all my weddings this year seemed to happen during a monsoon.
- BOLD because despite the weather you surprised your family and your friends but seizing every minute of your wedding and getting those shots with the stunning Lake District backdrop.
- GROWTH because this was my first full year of big weddings since starting at the back end of 2021. I’ve had some incredible opportunities that I’ve basically learnt to just say YES to for the chance to grow.

2024 will bring my first Scotland wedding, my first Devon wedding and my first destination wedding in Italy. I can’t wait to meet you all.

I was so excited to film this wedding. Megan & Reece booked me back in 2021 when I first started. In fact they were my first paid booking ever! I knew I had 2 years to prepare for this and make sure I did them proud. When I turned up everyone was slightly concerned of the hurricane brewing outside. However despite the weather and the horizontal rain, Megan & Reece decided to make the most of their day. Take a look for yourself 🍾

I've had the pleasure of knowing Bethan & Matthew for about a year now. I knew of them from a wedding i filmed at the Belsfield & again at Eden Barn. Being asked to film their wedding was such a privilege. Their friends were familiar. The location was stunning. The couple were down to earth. Was this the perfect wedding? Yes.

Andrea & Gavin did the impossible. They planned & organised their wedding day in the space of 4 weeks and managed to keep it a secret from group of unsuspected night guests. Surrounded by their closest family members they tied the knot in Abbey House's intimate Alfresco area. I couldn't be more excited to share this special wedding with you all.

Hello!

I'm currently in the edit with my first wedding of the year and what a wedding it was!

Being asked to film the secret wedding of Andrea & Gavin was something I knew would be extra special. With only 25 family members in attendance and 110 unsuspected evening guests in for the biggest surprise of the year...Andrea & Gavin Morgan pulled it out of the bag!
