Wedding planning has led us to view some stunning venues around England & Wales. I’ve set a difficult criteria, that I only want us to book a venue where I haven’t photographed a wedding at previously. Which rules out 100’s of truly stunning venues. We want our day to feel truly unique for us.

A hidden gem in the Cotswolds, Euridge Manor was one of our favourites we’ve seen along this journey in choosing a venue. Easily accessible from the M4, Euridge is set in 450 acres of stunning scenery. The Georgian meets Italianate style is truly unique, and it’s a venue I’d love to photograph at again.

The chandeliers are truly iconic!

Happy Valentines Day 💘

& Ciaran’s stunning wedding was a true celebration of love. Rain made plans for an outdoor ceremony exchange for the kaleidoscope room, a beautiful indoor glass structure that I always think of as an enchanting treehouse amongst the canopy, complimented by dreamy flowers that decorated the whole room with.

The rain didn’t deter them, later on we enjoyed walking around the grounds, Jodie & Ciaran holding hands and giggling the whole time. With the most confetti I’ve ever seen, they went back in for their wedding breakfast, and then partied the night away starting with a champagne tower and captivating the dancefloor 🍾🪩

Sunsets this year have been truly phenomenal, just like at .westacott & wedding hosted at the stunning Brinsop Court.

Their party enjoyed a stunning day around the grounds of Brinsop, the Knot Barn hosting their speeches adorned by personalised table decor and photos of their guests.

Charlotte & Alex tied the knot yesterday at one of my favourite venues, Cefn Tilla. With beautiful personal vows to each other, the Lily Pond terrace was jam packed with guests for their outdoor ceremony, with some of the best sunshine we’ve had all year.

I briefly went to school with Charlotte in our last year of sixth form, it was such a privilege to capture her and Alex’s wedding all these years later!

10 Years. On the 31st of July 2015, I photographed my first wedding.

It was for my physics teacher, Zoe, and her now-husband James. For a reason that I still don’t understand, they trusted me to photograph their wedding on 10 years ago today. This set me on a course which changed the trajectory of my degree, my career, and definitely my life.

10 years and 300+ weddings in, I still pinch myself that this is what I get to do. To document. To storytell. To laugh and cry and reply to emails at 1 a.m. and be on a beach photographing a couple running down the shoreline, all within the same day. To have phone calls crying with a bride when a life-changing event has postponed their wedding. When a beloved family member has passed and if I can print something out for the funeral. To speak with crowds of photographers at conferences and even do talks and workshops of my own.

I’ve been so fortunate to document weddings across the UK, France, Greece, and Spain. I’ve made incredible friends in the industry, with my couples and with their guests. Other photographers and videographers have become like brothers and sisters to me. I’m so grateful for everything.

Every time I’ve had a setback, I get back up, I’m that bit stronger and more creative. And learn valuable lessons that mistakes do happen and I sure won’t make them again.

My photos have been printed in magazines and billboards, but more importantly, my photos grace the walls of couples’ homes, their office desks, phone homescreens, coffee table albums, and grandmas fireplaces.

My couples are at the heart of everything I do, and I always want to stay true to that mission. You have these photos for life, and I want you to cherish them.

I wouldn’t change the past 10 years for the world; the experiences I’ve had have shaped the person and the photographer I am today. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and all the couples who have trusted me. I don’t take it for granted. You make me so, so, so eternally happy and grateful.
