Little " Fun Fact " to start the day..
Also another reason to Support your Local florists, we often have people commenting on "what a lovely job to have" , "all you do is wrap flowers " and many other quotes , but Floristry isn't as easy as people think, there are many different areas to the job, from serving on the phone - face-face , online , constant cleaning and changing water to rotate our stock and keep our shop fronts full and beautiful for you all to see, not to mention that we have to make up the orders, often within a short space of time for delivery slots or collections in shops, we have to know about all the flowers etc when taking wedding orders, and we have to be supporting and caring when its a sympathy order , not to mention keeping the displays inside and out nice and tidy , make sure the plants are watered, getting things organised for our drivers to deliver and many many more things within the day.
But when people walk in , they only see the shop and the flowers, not always the hard work we do to keep on the high street , we aren't supermarkets , where you walk in and get " a bunch" of flowers, we create our bouquets so you won't have the same one as everyone else !
Yes it is hard work at times But for us it is so very rewarding because every florist I know LOVES their job , that's why we do it , and why we are here for YOU, and this "Fun Fact" just goes to show how special and unique our talents really are .
