After a longer than usual New Year break, Cuffley Horticultural Society returns to Cuffley Hall on Thursday 27th February to present "Beneath a Mexican Sky – the Road to Chelsea" with Manoj Malde Garden Design.

Beneath a Mexican Sky was Manoj’s first Chelsea Flower Show garden inspired by the work of talented Mexican architect Luis Barragán. Taking inspiration from colour washed walls the garden used drought tolerant plants that merged Mediterranean style with country cottage planting; along with simple lighting creating bold shadows on the walls. Be prepared to be dazzled with beautiful colours and striking planting.

Admission only £1 for members, or come along as a visitor for just £2. Annual membership still only £5 per household! Full details on their website https://www.cuffleyhortsoc.org.uk/

The Greenwood Players present 'Curl Up & Die', a farce by Anna Longaretti.

This is one hilarious hair appointment that can’t be missed! When Ruth inherits her Aunt's antiquated hair salon, the antiquated clientele comes with it. The old girls’ weekly shampoo and sets are put on hold however when Ruth enters a prestigious hairdressing competition - her desperate attempt to drag the salon into the twenty-first century. When the terrible timing of an unplanned arrival of a Westminster Health And Safety Officer sends everyone into a lather, we find out that perhaps the ladies are more 'compos mentis' than they appear, but can they save the day, or will something quite unexpected be Ruth's saviour?

Performances at 8pm from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th July. Ticket price £14, which includes a £2 donation to Cancer Research UK, available from the Box Office on 07902 029115.
