Last week I treated myself to some peonies from Tesco (other supermarkets are available) On the same day the rain battered down one of my large rose buses and it looked like the branch was going to break so I took all the flowers (about 20 long stemmed roses) to help it bounce back. As a result these beauties have been performing in the dining room for the last 5 days or so - pretty impressive I think. Today I refreshed the vase, isn't it amazing how the peonies have faded from bright coral pink to pale yellow? They'll probably only last a few hours more but they have given my such joy!

We’ve created a special First Timers class at the BSG South East Cake & Decorating Show specifically for those who have NEVER entered a competition before. No pressure, just plenty of support and a chance to show off what you can do.

🍂 The Challenge: 'Colours of Autumn'
You don’t even need to bake a whole cake! Simply decorate a cake drum or board to look like a cake top using sugarpaste, chocolate, ganache, buttercream, or royal icing - just make sure all your decorations are edible.
