Scientific Update, established in 1989 by Dr. Trevor Laird, organises conferences and training courses for industrial chemists and chemical engineers in chemical development and scale-up and many other specialist topics in organic chemistry. We also provide extensive consultancy services in these fields and edit the international scientific journal entitled Organic Process Research and Development (OPRD). Our short intensive training courses enable scientists to learn about highly relevant topics, to broaden their knowledge and to keep abreast of new science, new technology and new techniques. Many of these are also available for in-house training. Our specialist conferences provide the perfect forum for organic process chemists and chemical engineers to network with experts from industry and academia from all over the world. Our aim is to provide you with the very best, up-to-date chemistry and superb locations.
