The surrounding area is steeped in history with the famous Arkwright and Masson Millls only a short walk away, which house museums and factory shopping outlets. We are only a few minutes drive from Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Crich Tramway Village and Carsington Water. Walking distance from Black Rocks, The Heights of Abraham and Gullivers Kingdom.

Matlock Bath is just a 20 min walk from Oakhill. If you are thinking of visiting delightful Derbyshire look us up! Lots of lovely walks right on our doorstep! 💚💙

Made it to the top of Giddy Edge, and the view over Matlock Bath was worth every bit of the climb.

The Victorians built this path deliberately to give tourists a scare, one-way system in place now to stop people passing each other on the narrow bits. Steep drop, iron rails where it matters and a stunning view.
