Cromarty Arts Trust & Old Brewery Cromarty Arts Trust is a non profit making charitable organisation, promoting a diverse range of arts activity- visual, musical and cultural on the Black Isle.

Our goals are to promote and embrace the arts, education, environment, history of the Highlands, and the conservation of buildings of historical or architectural importance. We have a beautifully restored venue - the Stables - where we host performances, exhibitions, craft fairs, ceilidhs, theatre productions and films. It's a terrific place for a wedding too! Our office, based at 19 Bank Street,

also has 5 en-suite study rooms providing accommodation for students, artists, writers, researchers or anyone looking to find a retreat or holiday in the beautiful village of Cromarty.

The storm clouds are gathering over Cromarty Firth. This magical bay houses the old oil rigs ready to be repurposed.
At Nearby Nigg they are building the wind turbines for the wind farms out in the North Sea.

Here you can see the tugs coming in. No doubt a rig is being made great to be moved. It always changes at Cromarty Bay.

Join us for an evening of exceptional Scottish traditional music with Rachel and Holli, an exciting emerging duo whose sound blends accordion, piano, fiddle and vocals with warmth, skill and originality.

Drawing inspiration from their Argyll roots, they weave together original compositions and traditional melodies in intimate and engaging performances. Fresh from winning a Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections 2026 and with their debut EP newly released, this is a chance to catch two rising stars of the Scottish folk scene in the Old Brewery.

'The Most Wuthering Heights Day Everโ€ฆAgainโ€™ The Highland Fling Edition 2026.

Cromarty, The Links, IV11 8XW. 12pm-1pm, Sunday 12th July 2026.

The Links is the green Space between the last bus stop in Cromarty and the Cinema, looking out to sea between The Sutors.

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is a global event in which people gather outside to wear red, dance to Kate Bush's epic song 'Wuthering Heights' to raise money for charity. And this year will be the second Highland Fling edition in Cromarty.

Everybody is welcome. Wear your floatiest red dress/red jeans/red dressing gown and Wuther along. We'll have a few practice dances beforehand, and then we all Wuther together for a finale.

This is a free event for everyone to turn up and dance. If you would like to donate to our eventโ€™s chosen charity, donations will be gratefully received for James Support Group: 'It's OK not to be OK.'

Last year, we made the local press, raised over ยฃ350 for charity and made a video of the dance which is on YouTube (search for Cromarty+Wuthering)

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever Event was originally created by Shambush in the UK and facilitated as a global organiser's community by Samantha Wareing in Berlin. It is a not-profit event to spread the joy of dancing to Kate Bush's wonderful song Wuthering Heights.
