We were asked to create a banana bread cake/loaf for a birthday celebration, with one simple request: nothing fancy! 🍌🎂

But if you know us, you know we couldn't just make a banana loaf cake... 😅

So we created this beauty instead! ✨

Three layers of moist homemade banana bread, filled and frosted with silky cream cheese frosting, finished with a sprinkle of colour for a fun birthday touch.

Simple? Maybe.Delicious? Absolutely. 💛

Some exciting news... ❤️

Many of you have supported Bwyta Fach from the very beginning, whether you've ordered celebration cakes, traybakes or sweet treats, I'm so grateful for every single order.

I'm excited to share that I'm branching out and opening Emily's at Crofty Industrial Estate! ☕🥪🥔

The best part? You'll now be able to enjoy Bwyta Fach cakes without having to pre-order. Alongside breakfast rolls, toasties, jacket potatoes, salad boxes and great coffee, there'll be a selection of homemade cakes available every day.

This has been a long time in the making and I can't wait to welcome both familiar faces and new customers through the hatch.

After lots of planning, paperwork, cups of coffee and more than a few sleepless nights, I'm excited to finally share that Emily's is coming soon to Crofty Industrial Estate! ☕🥓🥔

Many of you will know me from the pubs and cafés I've run over the years, and I'm looking forward to getting back to doing what I love most – serving good, honest food and great coffee.

When it’s your partner’s 40th and he tasks you with a Raffaello cake… challenge accepted 🤍✨

Raffaello are his absolute favourite chocolates, so I had to turn that iconic flavour into cake form.

Soft sponge soaked in coconut syrup, layered with mascarpone cream, white chocolate, almond and coconut… recreating that irresistible Raffaello deliciousness in every single bite 🥥🤍

Safe to say it went down well 🥂
