Last weekend I had the pleasure of marrying Mr and Mrs Gilmore at on the Isle of Arran. Their ceremony location just speaks for itself, right by the beach with the most stunning backdrop. It’s always bittersweet leaving Arran. I don’t spend nearly as much time here where I used to call home ❤️ but being here this weekend to conduct the wedding of Mr and Mrs Gilmore was lovely.

What a day! Kat and Jason decided to travel over from America to renew their wedding vows. Their ceremony was filled with the beautiful symbolic gestures of handfasting using an infinity knot and a quaich, brilliantly filled with some Scottish gin! Saying their personal words to each other in the middle of Glencoe, high in the hills with not a soul around (other than me and the brilliant !!) was quite special indeed. “THE BIGGER PICTURE”
