I went up to Pilsdon at 6am thus morning, it was completely dark and my small torch quite inadequate.
Climbing upwards I became aware of the cold and as usual lack of functioning equipment ( ie a head torch, a turps container that dosn't leak and a pocharde box strong enough not to fall apart on route).
Colour mixed on disposable pallet using said inadequate torch, finished paintings stacked using clothes pegs ( oh for a decent painting carrier(.
Having said all that It was beautiful, people free, and the only sound was an owl and a fleeting bat.
