I must say I was very nervous for my first visit to try on the wedding dresses, I had read some horrible reviews in other shops that really put me off. The bride shop really stood out for me in the fact that dresses are all designed by Cath herself. Cath had also been recommended to me.
Straight away Cath and her mum made me feel at ease and after a coffee and a chat the dress trying began!! Cath listened to all my thoughts and encouraged me to share how i felt in each dress that i tried on and what i like and didnt like. The hour and a half appointment went so quickly but Cath was so accommodating and I ended up creating my dress from different details from 3 dresses!!
I am an overthinker and a worrier and that night I had a complete wobble worrying about not being able to visualise my finished dress and ended up messaging Cath the next day (a Sunday), Cath phoned me straight away and made me feel so much better and asked me to go back in for a coffee and a chat the following week.
Which I did. And im so pleased i did, Cath and I sat down together and made a few tweaks to the design, i tried on a few more dresses and i left feeling amazing and so excited to see the finished dress.
I would highly recommend The Bride Shop to anyone getting married, it really shines through how much Cath enjoys her work and how much it means to her to help all her brides find that dream dress and feel beautiful. Cath provides a very personal and relaxed experience and I am so pleased I chose to go to The Bride Shop to create my dream dress xx
