Your Local Heroes this week are...

Crawley Open House

Nominated by David, who said "Crawley Open House are celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year and they have helped thousands of people over the years suffering the effects of homelessness. The team work so hard, it would be lovely for them to have a cookie treat!"

We delivered 20 large cookies to the team as a small thank you for everything they do.

Mark Dempsey

Nominated by Joanna, who says, "I'd like to nominate Mark Dempsey at Maidenbower Colts Football Club. He's a firefighter as his day job and will come straight from shifts to train with the kids in the week and be there to support them and coach them at matches every Sunday. He's such a support to the boys and has been amazing!"

We surprised Mark just before a game on Sunday to give him a small 'thank you' for being a Local Hero.
