🗓 Ricks Castles - Re-opening for hires soon

First of all we would like thank all of the essential key workers that are working tirelessly every single day,
Who are going to work and keeping us and the rest of the nation safe 👏🏻 💙. You make huge sacrifices every day for each of us and we are forever grateful.

Before we are able to re-open our books, we wanted to run through how we will operate, why? and to ensure all of our customers are safe & happy:
•
We have been closed since mid March & have been waiting to see how the current situation & guidelines unfold
•
The government have stated that the covid19 virus will be here until they are able to find & create a vaccine which is likely to be a minimum of around 12 months
•
If the virus was likely to last just a little longer we would remain shut until then
•
The virus is likely to be here until the end of this year & likely well into 2021 too
•
For these reasons we have decided to resume trading but with the highest of precautions. The government have stated they will be easing companies back into work but we as companies/businesses will have to adapt our services and the way we operate in the safest way possible
•
Many people are under the impression that the government guidelines are that only essential workers may go to work - this is not the case......
The government states that any company that can not work from home, may go to work if they can do so safely
•
There are some exceptions to this which are companies that can not avoid contact such as pubs, soft play centres, shopping centres etc where social distancing rules cannot be applied
•
For us to re-open we will still need to stick to the social distancing & the current government guidelines rigidly to ensure you, your families and our staff are safe
•
❗We will only be taking certain bookings that follow a specific criteria in order to keep everyone safe
•
📖 Please read our new guidelines & agreement below to qualify for a booking with us:
✅ You must have a garden gate or side access to your property that is safe to pass through
✅ Preferred outside socket - if this is not possible then the plug will be disinfected before and left at the door of the property whilst we move a safe distance away while the plug in plugged in
✅ Online payments only - payment to be made in full upon booking
✅ Online disclaimer must be read thoroughly and completed prior to hire
✅ Castle MUST be used for those in household ONLY. We do not encourage gatherings of any type out of the household as this risks spreading the virus and putting lives at risk
✅ Choice of castle not guaranteed
✅ Grassed area where castle is going must be completely clear ready for set up (including foul)
✅ Grassed area where castle is going must be the correct space for the size of the castle & surrounding safety space. We are unable at this time to come and check prior to the hire
✅ Nobody to come out of the premises at any point during delivery or collection, or within the zone of any of our employees
✅ We have the right to cancel the booking at anytime at our own discretion
✅ The castle must be cleared & turned off an hour prior to the set collection time agreed
✅ If any member of the household becomes symptomatic at any point 14 days leading up to the hire or during please inform us at immediately as we will have to cancel your booking. We take this very seriously for the safety of all of our customers & staff

🔰Our own guidelines for our staff:
✔ No castle will be used within a 7 day period from the previous hire to the next - the virus can only last up to 72 hours on any surface. This will ensure the virus will die out if there has been contact on equipment in our secure unit between hires if it ever was on the material.
✔ We still still clean the castle & any item we touch with a disinfectant for everyone’s added security & safety
✔ Only one member of staff will be in a van or at any booking at one time
✔ We will only be hiring to house holds with back garden access that have agreed to use the item for their house hold only
