A huge 40th birtbday part 2....
Happy birthday to the most wonderful person anyone could know.

A carry on from wednesdays 2 course lunch.
With a bbq for 70 people with feast of cumberland sausages, jerk chicken, 12 hour slow roast beef brisket, 100% beef burgers finished off with a choice of....

Roasted Sweet Potato & Quinoa Super Salad
Maple-roasted sweet potato, red quinoa, baby spinach, dried mango, and pecans with orange-maple vinaigrette.

Crunchy Broccoli & Apple Slaw
Raw broccoli, julienned apple, carrots, red cabbage, toasted mixed seeds, and Greek yoghurt-dill dressing.

Heritage Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Panzanella
Heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, toasted sourdough croutons, red onion, and fresh basil in olive oil and red wine vinegar

Followed by bbq pulled pork boa buns with asian slaw.

We spent yesterday afternoon celebrating a wonderul intimate birthday lunch for 10 with a breif of beetroot and goats cheese for a starter and chicken ceasar salad for a main course.

We created, torched and glazed goats cheese on a garlic and thyme sour dough crisp, with pickled and candied walnuts, honey and orange baked beetroot with a maple and balsamic dressing.

Followed by a crispy streaky bacon, chargrilled chicken and soft boiled egg ceasar salad with heritage tomatoes, hand tossed garlic croutons, shaved parmesan and our classic fresh ceasar dressing.

In words of one of the guests "i rate every restautant on its ceasar salad, and this is the best ive had in a long time".

We go back again on Saturday for the real celebration with a bbq for 80 followed by evening food of pulled pork bao buns.

A very big happy 70th birthday to Monica, we had the pleasure of creating a monumental feast to celebrate a wonderful birthday yesterday.

From canapes of mini chicken gyros wraps, charred spiced mini beef brioche sandwhiches with grain mustard mayo, feta and spinach puffs, triple cooked french fries and battered cod boats with lemon and black pepper mayo.

Beef wellington with summer vegetable medley, torched vine tomatoes, dauphenoise, red wine reduction.

Leek ash and asparagus risotto with feta and parmesan topped with crispy shallots

Sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream and toffee sauce.
