Clun Memorial Hall is a volunteer run community venue in the heart of Clun. The hall boasts an excellent stage, with dressing room and toilet.

Whether you’re planning a party, wedding reception, sports event, meeting or concert, the hall is well equipped to suit your needs. Within short walking distance of the village centre, Clun Memorial Hall is a large hall, with full disabled access, suitable for indoor sports, dances, concerts, drama productions and private functions. The hall itself is complemented by a lounge/bar that can be open

ed up, or rented separately. We also offer a committee room, seating up to 18, which can also be used for meetings or workshops. The hall also boasts an excellent kitchen, with a 6 burner gas cooker, hot cupboard, large refrigerator, dishwasher and a commercial microwave. The hall accommodates 300 for dances, 230-seated concert style and 150 seated at tables. The hall sits in extensive grounds on the edge of the beautiful village of Clun, with a playing field, playground and all-weather ball court.

A little reminder that, although the use of the car park is welcomed, we must remind everyone of the Terms of use as below:

PRIVATE CAR PARK

• All vehicles parked on these premises must be fully taxed, have a valid MOT certificate and be insured at all times.
• Under the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act, it is an offence to leave untaxed vehicles on publicly accessible private land, including those registered as SORN.
• Vehicles parked in breach of these terms will be subject to being reported and seized.

The generosity of our local community is incredible!

Today, we would like to share another HUGE thank you to Gary & Annie Frost for very kindly donating a Tawny Owl box for the Memorial Hall grounds. 🦉

And another HUGE thank you to local fireman Paul Slattery for kindly putting it up for us! 👏

We hope you’re enjoying the grounds. Please do let us know if you spot an owl while you’re here and we’d love to hear about any other species of birds you spot too!

Our new Flicks in the Sticks season is starting soon, with a change of day! 🎬

We’ve got your Saturday evening plans sorted on the 12th September, with a film night here in Clun.

At 7.30pm, Clun Memorial Hall will be showing “Brian & Charles”.

Rated PG, so bring the whole family along! (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)

Wow! I think you’ll all agree that the work carried out by the Hall Committee and our lovely community this summer has been incredible!

And now for our latest project update… 🎾🏀

Tennis & Pickleball are now ready to play! 🎉

The basketball posts & hoops will be in place shortly.

There’s no booking necessary, just play if the court is vacant.

A few important things to remember:
🎾 Please do not take down the tennis posts or net.
⚽ Football is to be played on the field only.

We hope you’ll all enjoy making use of these incredible facilities!

They’ll be joining us again this Saturday, along with a fantastic selection of other local produce.

The Wallace Walk is now complete and runs from the Orchard all the way around the grounds. 🌳

The Orchard is now fully enclosed and dog friendly, making it a great space to enjoy with your four legged friends. 🐾
Please help us keep it clean and enjoyable for everyone by kindly picking up after your dog.
