It's both Chocolate Week and National Baking Week 🍰 which must mean it's obligatory to talk about wedding cake..?!

A wedding cake is so much more than a dessert. Whether you go for elegant and tiered, relaxed and rustic or 2 caterpillar cakes (like our last wedding couple), it deserves to represent you as much as the rest of the day does.

Our tip: If you’re booking a cake maker do it as early as possible. The best ones - and we know a few - fill up fast. 💛

A wedding is only ever as good as the people behind it and we are lucky to work alongside some truly brilliant local suppliers 🌿

If you fancy pizza at your wedding (and why wouldn’t you?!), we know just the people! The Pizza Girls describe themselves as “two local girls from Ludlow with a bright pink horse box and a pink sparkly wood fired oven” – not to mention the delicious flavours!
(If you want sweet, they can even do marshmallow and chocolate pizza!)

Wednesday Wisdom and this one is about your vows. 💛

Whether you're writing your own or working from a traditional format, your vows deserve more than a last-minute scribble. Set aside a proper evening - just the two of you - to think about what you actually want to say.
What do you want to promise?
What do you want the room to feel when you say it?

If you're writing your own, read them out loud more than once. Time them. Make sure they sound like you, not like a greeting card.

And if you're choosing the traditional vows, take a moment to actually read the words rather than letting them wash over you on the day. They're rather beautiful when you really listen to them.
