Unfortunately, due to the high winds forecast, we have been informed that the inflatables, including the bouncy castles, will not be able to go ahead today.

We are so sorry for the disappointment, but safety has to come first.

The good news is that there is still plenty to enjoy! We have the fantastic Bodiam Band, the ever-popular Dog Show, Adam and his amazing musical talents, as well as lots of stalls, activities and entertainment throughout the day.

We look forward to seeing you all there and making it a wonderful day despite the weather. Thank you for your understanding and support! 🎪🎶🐕

🎉 TODAY'S THE DAY! 🎉

The weather might be looking a little grey, but don't let that put you off – we're ready to bring the sunshine with a fantastic day of fun, laughter and community spirit! ☀️

Our amazing team of volunteers has worked incredibly hard over the past few months to make this year's Hawkhurst Summer Fete bigger and better than ever, and we'd love to see as many of you there as possible.

So grab your coats if needed, bring your friends and family, and come along to support your local community. Every smile, every visit and every bit of support makes all the hard work worthwhile.

🎟️✨ HAWKHURST VILLAGE FETE RAFFLE ✨🎟️

This year’s raffle promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a fantastic top prize of a whopping £200 CASH! 💷

There are also plenty of other amazing prizes up for grabs, including:
Meal vouchers for local pubs
Cinema tickets
Vouchers for Park Farm Butchers
Beautiful floral garden displays …and many more!

Every year, the raffle helps support local community groups and good causes, and this year is no exception

The following groups will be selling raffle tickets directly from their stalls and will benefit from the sales they make, so why not support your favourite local group while being in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes

BIG NEWS FOR HAWKHURST SUMMER FETE 2026

Thanks to the incredible support, generosity, and hard work of all our amazing volunteers and supporters last year, we are so excited to announce that ALL children’s activities at this year’s fete will be completely FREE!*

This year’s fete is all about bringing the community together and making sure every family can enjoy a fantastic day out without worrying about cost.

Hope to see you there - 6th June at midday, KGV Playing Fields.

We’re so excited to announce that Ockley Barn Farm will be joining us at this year’s Fete with their fantastic petting zoo!

Come along and meet some adorable animals, enjoy a hands-on experience, and say hello to some furry (and fluffy!) friends – we can’t wait to welcome them to the fete for the very first time!

And while we’re talking about animals… don’t forget about our annual Dog Show, proudly run by the amazing Little Dale Dogs! Will your dog be entering this year? 🏆🐾

The countdown is ON - the Hawkhurst Summer Fete is almost here!

We can’t wait to welcome you for an amazing afternoon packed with fun, food, entertainment, stalls and something for everyone

We’re delighted to announce that the Hawkhurst Summer Fete is back on Saturday 6th June, 12–6pm, at King George V – The Moor!

We’re busy planning what we hope will be a bigger and better fete than ever, with plenty of fun for all ages, great food, entertainment, stalls and more.

We’d also love to hear from you -if there’s anything you’d like to see at this year’s fete, please do get in touch and let us know.

And as always, we’re looking for volunteers to help on the day. Whether you can spare an hour or more, your help makes a huge difference and is very much appreciated 💛
