The gooseberries are swelling nicely and we’ve been planting more vegetables, companion plants, and edible flowers around the garden 🍃
The mix helps encourage pollinators, improves soil health, and keeps pests naturally under control — all helping the garden thrive naturally.

The first harvest!

As the growing season begins, we thought we'd share a little update from the garden.

This week we planted:
• Celeriac
• Celery
• Radicchio
• Nasturtiums
• California poppys
• Cornflowers
• Parsley

Function and beauty is the goal

We've also been making fertiliser from nettles and comfrey to help everything grow big and strong 💪

Supports are going up for the hops and sweet peas- ready to reach for the sun whenever it decides to return

A wildlife pond has been created to welcome frogs , insects and thirsty bees to the garden 🐝
