Hi, I'm Pindy, the owner and creator of Pindy's Samosas, which I set up in 2017. I started Pindy's because I really want everyone to experience delicious, quality, Punjabi samosas. When I started working in an office, I'd always make some for the team and within minutes colleagues were in the kitchen eating them. So one day, I thought why not make a business of it? I love cooking and the satisfact

ion of providing good quality samosas to people who appreciate Indian food. I've been making samosas for more than 20 years. Each samosa is made to perfection, using specific processes for making the filling and pastry, shaping and frying that I've experimented with and refined to create the best possible combination of textures and flavours. I was taught to make samosas by my mum, Kulwant, who would double check every stage to make sure my efforts met her very high standards. Thanks to this education, my understanding of both British and Indian cultures, and the all-important original recipe, my Samosas have received nothing but fantastic feedback. Pindy's Samosas caters for birthdays, office parties or any other special event. Give me a call and I'll be happy to help you decide how many samosas you need as well as making complementary offerings such as pakoras, paneer spring rolls and curries.

The Story Behind Pindy’s Samosas 🥟✨

I’ve noticed a lot of new faces around here lately, so I wanted to take a second to say hello and reintroduce the story behind every fold and every filling.

My samosa journey started when I was just 10 years old. For me, summer holidays weren't about relaxing—they were about the "production line" in the kitchen with my mum and my sisters. We’d spend hours hand-crafting batches for family and friends, starting with the heart of it all: the authentic vegetable samosa.

The true legend behind this business is my mum. She was the absolute queen of the kitchen growing up, and she remains the Queen of Samosas to this day. Her original recipes are still the gold standard for our friends and family, and her perfectionism is legendary!

Back in the day, and even now, her standards haven't shifted an inch. When she comes up to visit from Worthing and we’re in the kitchen together, she’s still keeping me on my toes—making sure every single samosa is sealed perfectly with absolutely no gaps.

Back then, me and my siblings would take her samosas into work, and the praise they got was so incredible that I knew I had to share them with everyone.

In 2017, I officially turned that childhood passion into a business. I’ve taken those traditional Punjabi recipes my mum perfected and infused them with my British upbringing, which is how I came up with the fusion flavors you see today—like my year-round mince pie samosas!

It’s such an honor to carry on my mum’s legacy of perfection while bringing a modern twist to the traditions I grew up with. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!

I’d love to get to know you all—what was the first samosa flavor of mine you ever tried?
