Wookie is making nurnies for a monster we're building.

We've got a run of masks underway as stock for Empire LRP in a couple of weeks and a batch of antlers working through the system as well.

This weekend we're trading at empire lrp. We're in the out of character traders. We've got some gorgeous rods made by Sunrise Propworks (as is everything in this photo) as well as our antlers, orc masks etc.

I've spoken to a few people about monsters recently so setting expectations when you're ordering lrp monsters.

If you're after a monster then we typically charge £1k-1.5k for something the size of a human and £1.5k to 2.5k for something a bit larger.

This often breaks down to about £450ish for the head, a couple of hundred for the arms, add a few hundred if we need to make it work on stilts, fur or complicated finishes add a bit. Good quality fur can be £60-120 a metre.

We can work to your budget and discuss compromises or extras with you.

A rock monster with 1ft added height in the feet and 1-2 feet added by raising the head would be 2-2.5kish.

The bloater from divided we fall was 1.5k (we also made some clickers so the total invoice was 2k).

Something like our basic aliens would be more like a grand but even there there are options.

The antlers from which we make our antlers. We tend not to use the two largest pairs as they're too wobbly, and the single prong on the right isn't branching so isn't on brief for empire.

I hope those of you who play have had a good empire and are safely drying off at home.

If you're considering buying your own orc mask for E2 then this post is relevant to you.

We're out of the workshop for the week before the event. This means that we won't be able to facilitate last minute orders. We are also likely to have minimal stock on site. (It's my 40th birthday and I want to see puffins :)).

As a result we recommend you pre order your masks with a much notice as you can give us to make sure we've got what you want available.
