This Bank Holiday Sunday 1st May, it's with great pleasure we welcome NTS Radio resident Eclair Fifi, one of Scotland’s best DJs and visual artists 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Her taste in music and style is wide ranging & intuitive: House, Techno, Italo disco and Latin freestyle smoothing off electro, South US rap and Top 40 R&B acapellas breathing new life into wobbly electronica 💣

🔊 She’s held down radio shows on BBC Radio1, Rinse FM and now hosts a monthly show on NTS Radio. She’s curated stages at Warehouse Project & ADE, played at festivals like Dekmantel & SXSW as well as institutions like Tate Modern and MoMA PS1. Over the years, she’s become of the UK’s most colourful, genre-agnostic DJs.

In support Ghost Town’s invited residents from Selextorhood and Ho**er Club - two of the regions most vital collectives that champion inclusivity for LGBTQIA+ / POC / women identifying artists 💪

Expect R&B, Hip Hop, Disco and House music on rotation, with sets from DJ Fansnap, Dee'cleo b2b Czafari, Yang b2b Daniel Brown + Ghost Town residents 💃🏻

So cool to go to the House is a feeling exhibition in the abandoned ikea building last night and learn more about the cities role in the rise of the UK rave scene in the late 80s and early 90s.

“The exhibition explores the evolution of electronic dance music and emerging youth cultures that put Coventry on the map at a time of heightened social injustice, racism and violence. The city was an early focus of rave culture in the UK and witnessed the birth of its first legal events, ultimately leading to the creation of Amnesia House and The Eclipse Nightclub, the first sanctioned all-night rave club in the UK”
