CHANGE OF DAY FOR SQ CLUB SALSA THIS WEEK
There is no salsa night on Thursday 23rd Feb. :-(
We are running on Weds 22nd Feb instead. :-)
A change of day is necessary to accomodate a large event at the venue.
The timing remains the same with a warm up at 8.05pm and classes commencing at 8.10pm. We are back to running on Thursdays as normal the following week.

Happy New Year to all the SQ Club Salseros!!!! We are running our first salsa night in 2012 this Thurs on Jan 5th. I spent a few days of the holiday finding some great new salsa tracks and getting them ready for mixing, so I am looking forward to ramping up the atmosphere in the after class party even more this year. See you on the dance floor soon.

CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE FOR SQ CLUB THURSDAY NIGHT SALSA:
Dec 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd - Running as normal
Dec 29th 2011 - Not Running
Jan 5th 2012 - Running as normal every week in January 2012
For a local salsa fix during Christmas week Latin Motion have a party in Coventry on Dec 30th at the Jaguar Club in Radford and Dec 31st NYE at the Colliery Club in Allesley Village, see the Latin Motion website for details.

CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE FOR THURSDAY SALSA:
We are taking a one week break during Christmas week and will not be running on Thurs Dec 29th. We will put up some lights and a tree on Thurs Dec 22nd to give the night an xmas theme and the wearing of tinsel and santa hats will be positvely encouraged.
Dec 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd - Running as normal
Dec 29th 2011 - Not Running
Jan 5th 2012 - Running as normal every week in January 2012
For a salsa fix during Christmas week, B60 Salsa are running a salsa night on the 27th December at the Cradley labour club, and there is a New Years Eve Salsa Party at the Colliery Club in Coventry, see the Latin Motion website for details.

Terry is guest teaching for us on Thursday night this week. I will do the intermediate class and Terry will take the 9.15pm advanced class.

Ahmed is away on Thurs Nov 24th so we will invite a guest teacher for next week's salsa night. I am at a conference in Manchester on Thurs 24th so will be putting my foot down on the M6 to get back for the 8pm class.

We have had more than 80 people at the SQ Club salsa night for the last three weeks. A big thankyou to you all for coming and helping to make the night such a friendly and vibrant event. As you know we run this night for fun and not for profit and we are really pleased that it has grown to become such a major weekly event on the salsa calendar in Coventry. I have taken some photos and will post them on the website and on facebook as soon as I have finished writing my lecture slides and assignment for this terms robotics course. (Now you know why I dance like a robot!)
