🌸👀Business update👀🌸 it's a long one but please read...
Some of you already know that for the past two years I've been juggling running my florist business while spending half of each week at university completing my teacher training.
This week, after two very long, challenging years of balancing everything, I officially achieved my **Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)!** 🌸📚
In September, I'll be starting my full-time role as an **ECT1 class teacher**, and with this exciting new chapter comes a difficult decision.
Recently, there have been a few experiences that have shown me it's the right time. Self-employment isn't for the faint-hearted. It's time consuming, balancing the books, working hard behind the scenes, and sometimes dealing with companies that aren't honest or customers who expect a lot for very little.
That said, I have also been incredibly fortunate to work with some truly AMAZING customers. Many of you have supported me for years, trusted me with your most special moments, recommended me to others, and made this little dream of mine possible. ❤️🌸
As of tomorrow, the business will no longer be my primary source of income, and I'll be officially deregistering it as such. It will become a smaller version, a side business and a paid passion. While I'm not closing completely, I will be significantly reducing what I offer.
**I will still be creating:**
🎄 Pre-made Christmas wreath and DIY wreath kits
🎁 Gifts
🕊️ Graveside and remembrance tributes
💐 Smaller funeral work
💍 A limited number of weddings each year
**I will no longer be offering:**
⛔️Year-round wedding and funeral floristry
⛔️Next-day delivery
⛔️ Large funeral tributes
⛔️Wreath-making workshops (unless previously agreed)
⛔️Mother's Day collections
⛔️ Venue styling and set-ups
⛔️End-of-year teacher gifts
Thank you for supporting me throughout the last **13 years**. What started as a dream became a business I was so proud of, and I'll always cherish everything it has given me. I will stay online as post when I make, but I wont be as availability as I have been, but please still drop a message and ask! I still have a few little bits in the pipeline!
