It might look like just a little fabric, but there is so much more going on here.

We start with a base layer to create volume, add carefully placed draping, then layer in different textures to give the sweet table shape, softness and movement.

It is these considered details that turn something ordinary into a romantic focal point that feels completely part of the wedding.

40 today.

Kara Mia has been such a big part of my life for the past few years, but behind the business I’m still just me. Kara.

The one choosing every flower, planning every detail, loading the van, answering the messages, solving the problems and caring far too much about how every wedding comes together.

Building this business has pushed me, tested me and taught me more than I ever expected. It has also given me the chance to create beautiful weddings, work with brilliant people and build something that feels completely my own. While being able to be present for my family and build the business around them.

I’m proud of how far Kara Mia has come, but I’m also proud of the woman I’ve become while building it.

So here’s to 40, to everything it took to get here and to everything still to come.

When you’re there to style the wedding open day and capture the content… but somehow decide you’re the main event.

A little behind the scenes with our content creator, pretending the venue was our runway before the doors opened.

The styling was ready. The flowers were in place. We just had to have our moment.
