Some beautiful human took the time to Vote for me 🥰 Whoever you are… T H A N K Y O U 🖤 I feel like an absolute fraud because I’m lying low on the flower front at the mo so it wouldn’t be right for me to ask people to vote for when theres so many amazing local independent florists at the top of their game and absolutely smashing it at the mo but once again this acknowledgment from is a little reminder that one day when the stars align I have the skills to smash it ✨ T H A N K Y O U ✨

• HELLO FLOWER • Just checking in to say Hi and see how you’re doing? • Still no news on the flower front i’m afraid, I’m not sure when I’ll be back following my dreams but I wanted to let you know that I check in on socials daily and it really does make my heart sing that I still continue to get new followers and love for my posts despite not being active for 6 months ❤️ for my work to continued to be recognised gives me hope that my qualification and time was not wasted• I SEE YOU ALL, the hardworking florist student I once was to the established florists I dream to be and your love and support means everything…It gives me hope that THE WILD PETAL FLORIST will be blooming again one day • I miss my flower loving pals • ✌🏼 🌸🌿 •

• N E W S • I’ve not posted on here for a good few weeks, I’m still here just been thinking some flower things over…. This flower game is H A R D and to be blunt kinda soul destroying 💔 Flowers are not cheap and designs take time, MY TIME and these days everyone wants to sniff out a bargain • People get blinded by supermarket prices and don’t realise that these are just not realistic or attainable prices for independent florists • If I’m honest I’m making more of a loss than a profit and that just can’t continue whilst I’ve got little mouths to feed and bills to pay • My family deserve a regular income and sadly flowers are just not offering that necessity at the moment • The dream would be to grow my own seasonal flowers but sadly I don’t have access to the land or the backing to finance that kind of project • Finding a job in a local florist to build my confidence would be amazing but it’s proved impossible • So I’ve had to take a realistic look at things, reluctantly down my tools and put my flower dreams on hold whilst I step back into an office role • the G O O D NEWS is that I’ll still be offering a few Christmas wreaths with details to be announced shortly but the B A D N E W S is that they’ll likely be my last W I L D P E T A L creation for a while • Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support and maybe one day I’ll finally make my flower dreams work • 🖤• ✌🏼• 🌿•

• S A F A R I S U N S E T • You can find these striking Leucadendron stems taking centre stage in this weeks P U M P K I N S P I C E jam jars available at The Cook in the Nook • Leucadendron might not look like your average flower ( in fact they are a shrub!) they certainly add interest and will last for months if cared for properly • Giving a beautiful reddish luminous glow as the light hits them • One of my favourites •
