Happy September, everyone! I hope you had a great August...!

It has been a very busy one for me! I started the month with the honour of leading my first "I Love You Always & Forever" ceremony for a lovely couple celebrating their pearl wedding anniversary in Rimini, Italy, and renewing their vows.

I then finished the month by heading a most wonderful Celebration of Life for a beautiful family, saying goodbye to their loved one in the fashion he would have loved; music, food, drink and delightful memories...

Thank you to both families for letting me be part of your special gatherings, 💟💟...

Also this month, I have been busy with all the "behind the scenes" admin, plus fitting in a very relaxing holiday!

Now, all refreshed, on with the next chapter and whatever it may bring...!

Wedding law reform needs to happen to give couples the choice they deserve! Here’s your chance to have your say…!

Please respond to the ‘Tying the Knot’ government proposals before September 24th!

We are sure you have by now seen and read the consultation document on reforming marriage law that was published by the Ministry of Justice at the end of July.

If the proposals are carried through, it will bring much needed choice to weddings, making the option to marry more attractive for couples. The role of the independent celebrant is discussed fully.

This is your chance to tell the government what you would like to see happen and suggest ideas directly. It’s a public consultation so do ask your family and friends to respond as well.

Yesterday, Wednesday 15 July 2026, I completed my last live ceremony assignment for my Celebrant training, and I am pretty chuffed to announce that I am now a fully qualified Master Celebrant, meaning I can cover Wedding, Funeral and Naming (equivalent to Christenings) Ceremonies! It was also a year to the day of my last foot op, as well!! What a difference a year makes, 😄!!

Since starting out on this journey, I have had the privilege of leading sixteen funerals, and I have one naming and three wedding enquiries to follow up on this week!

This time last year, when I was being prepped for my third foot op, I had no idea what was in store and whether I would be able to continue dancing. Now, a year on, I'm still dancing and have another string to my bow, too!! I have no idea where this new training will lead, but I am happy to keep going with the flow!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say hi and let you know that this week I have started my final training course - Naming Ceremonies - and I have just submitted module 1!

Also, as I was sitting at my desk, the postman delivered an envelope through my door...! Yay! I am the proud owner of my wedding certification as well as my funeral one!!

So, for the last few months I have been studying to qualify as a Wedding Celebrant, and I have just got my results in...

94% - Yay!! I am so pleased! Thank you to everyone that has helped and supported me along the way - I am so excited!!
