Put your hand up if you’re excited it’s nearly the weekend! 🙋🏻‍♀️

Out of routine this week with half term and all, but we can definitely find that Friday feeling lingering nonetheless. Anyone else been navigating the work/life balance this week? Fear not, Friday night is just hours away!

I’ve been doing some evening entertainment based admin this morning and it got me all excited for the wedding season ahead full of those end of wedding day feels. For me it’s a mix of a satisfying ‘job done’ feeling and soaking up the oodles of love in the room- quite often I linger at the end of the night not wanting to leave when spirits are so high 🤍 Most wedding days involve a good 10-12 hour working day for me, but yet I still want to stay- completely exhausted but I just love a wedding!

I have to be honest, I’m not sure I’m the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day as a thing- it’s definitely not for everyone. But I AM a fan of romance (and all things pink) so for those reasons alone I’m happy to go along with it 👏🏻 I mean how cute is this pink velvet ring box by Six Stories]

Today’s also the day that many couples get engaged and so for us wedding industry folk, it’s kind of a big deal. 𝚀𝚞𝚒𝚎𝚝 𝚖𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜

Hello all! I’ve been a tad quiet recently- life has been so busy and I’ve had to be kind to myself by letting instagram sit tight for a while, but the plates seem to be spinning nicely again (for now!) so I’m back to posting again 👋🏻

Rest assured I’ve been working away, but sometimes I think it’s good for the soul to take a step back and have a quiet moment to reflect on everything. Have you had the opportunity lately?

The same goes for wedding days too! One thing I like to do, is build time in to wedding day schedules for you as a couple. Some quiet moments just for the two of you, to absorb the wonder of the day and soak up all the newly wed feels.

This beautiful picture is an example of exactly that- Charlotte and Andy took some time away from their guests to explore the beautiful grounds of and captured them in their little wildflower bubble. They even got a fun ride on Ragley’s golf buggy on the way back! Win win 🤍

Hi instagram, it’s official, I’m back! 👋🏻

I decided to take a little social media break back in November and to be honest once I started I couldn’t stop or once I stopped I couldn’t start if you prefer…

It felt REALLY good to have some post-free time over the festive period. There’s been birthday celebrations, festive outings, house decluttering, painting of walls and lots of family time over the last two months and I’ve loved it- December is my favourite ❄️

But as the New Year begins and with enquiries coming in from newly engaged couples, it’s only right and sensible to get back on it, so here I am, ready to see what 2023 has to offer ✨

I love the fact that Halloween brings out the inner child- suddenly dress up isn’t just for the kids but for the big kids too! And it’s a similar story with wedding photo booths too, which make them a great addition to any party 👏🏻

Check out this picture taken by of the Bride, Groom and I (along with an Uncle I think?!) enjoying this Summer (a company just around the corner from me!).

By this point I did look a bit ‘ghoulish’ after a long but LOVELY day coordinating. But I think the glasses cover it well and they totally matched my dress 👌🏻

I love this picture captured by the fabulous - and the fact that this Groom was keeping up with the wedding schedule created by me! That’s what it’s for after all and having it there can make a big difference to how relaxed you feel- you can rest assured knowing everything is planned and in hand 👏🏻

As part of all my packages I create detailed documentation to guide your suppliers through the day. This includes a step by step wedding schedule which ensures timings for the day are planned down to a tee and everything is super organised!

As the day progresses the schedule usually bends and flexes as we go with the wedding flow, but having a smooth-running morning is definitely the goal and that’s where I come in 👌🏻

It’s been a poorly poorly week in the Spencer household, but it has been made significantly better by this gorgeous photograph taken by the lovely duo Dom & Liam Shaw] landing in my inbox yesterday morning.

This wedding Ragley] was absolutely stunning- the fact that this lovely Bride (miss you !) managed to select this palette so perfectly from 4,000 miles away is testament to her sense of style and attention to detail. And the Groom looks pretty happy about it too!

𝙼𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚜

It’s been a funny old week or so hasn’t it? I don’t think anybody is sure how to feel or what to say just now- a mixture of emotions all round.

Knowing what to say in big moments can be tricky for some and talking of big moments, speeches at weddings are a bit like marmite I find. Some people love the idea and find it to be a really important part of their day- almost a bit of a right of passage. And I find guests really look forward to hearing them - particularly if the Best Man likes to live life on the edge!

Others find it a tad too much, perhaps find the formality overwhelming and would rather not have the pressure of waiting for speeches on their happiest day. Speeches aren’t for everyone and just a walk down the aisle can be emotional exhausting enough!

Whichever camp you fall into, I just wanted to say: it’s absolutely 100% okay. Because it’s your wedding day and sometimes the little things speak a thousand words anyway.

Whatever you want to do, I will be fully on your team and make sure the good times roll just as you planned them to. Your wedding, your wishes, your way peeps✌🏻📋✨
