🌿 Aged 18–25 and considering a career in Horticulture? 🌿
Join us for a two-week Summer Volunteer Work Placement at Caer Rhun Hall, Conwy.
Set within 17 acres of beautiful Grade II listed gardens in the Conwy Valley, this hands-on placement offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and explore career pathways in horticulture, conservation, and land-based industries.
During the placement, you will gain experience in:
• Propagation (seeds and cuttings)
• Plant identification
• Tree care and maintenance
• Polytunnel management
• Tool and machinery use
• Grounds and border maintenance
• Planting and garden design
You will be mentored by our Head Gardener Julie and Assistant Gardener Daniel, who will provide expert guidance throughout the programme.
📅 Available Dates:
• 20th July – 31st July 2026
• 3rd August – 14th August 2026
• 17th August – 28th August 2026
🕘 Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
🎁 On successful completion, participants will receive:
• A gardening gift pack
• Career and study information
• A professional reference letter
