💍 WEDDINGS 💍

I wanted to talk briefly about the importance of investing in a serious DJ to handle one of the biggest occasions in your life!
Making the right choice is paramount. There’s no turning back on the night when somebody walks in who isn’t what you wanted for your guests. There’s no turning back when the music isn’t right, the DJ sets up on the buffet table, is muffled on the microphone, doesn’t read the crowd, plays through a cheap sound system that leaves your ears bleeding for days to come, uses dated lighting that has bulbs out, has dangerous wires that somebody could trip over, has spaghetti junction of wires and cables on display, plays too loud, plays too quietly, forgets your first dance song, talks annoyingly throughout their set, is late or doesn’t even turn up at all because, they’ve had a ‘better offer’.
What about the DJs who are just starting out and want to use your wedding as a training exercise to develop their skills for their new found hobby? If you are kind enough to invest in a proper DJ, shouldn’t the DJ equally invest in you?
What about the DJ’s who offer to May side products for one cheap price?
I may only DJ but this is a craft that I have thrown my entire life at and have invested heavily in. I don’t think it’s fair to offer services because you know a ‘little bit about everything’. My speciality is DJing. I wouldn’t pretend that I can double up on services.
Also, don’t be afraid to tell your venue that you want to bring your own experienced DJ in for your wedding. Whilst some resident DJs are good, there is a clear and present danger that they become stale and treat your big day as ‘this week’ wedding.
This is why I am not the resident at any one venue but instead work on rotation with most of the upper class wedding venues on the North Wales Coast. Recently, I’ve performed at and have upcoming gigs at venues such as:
Tower Hill Barns (Llangollen) / Soughton Hall (Mold) / Faenol Fawr (Bodelwyddan) / Wigfair Hall (St. Asaph) / Tyn Dwr(Llangollen) / White House Hotel (Rhuallt) / Hafod Farm (Llanrwst) / Titanic Hotel (Liverpool) / The Vale (Ruthin) / Mulberry (Conwy) / Tros yr Afon (Beaumaris) / Oh Me, Oh My (Liverpool) /
