Castleside Village Hall Castleside Village Hall is a beautiful, historic building that dates back to 1924. Private Hall that can cater up to 120 people. Large Stage.

Located in the heart of the community, the Village Hall is available for private hire, as well as offering various groups/event that you can come along and enjoy. Available to hire from £15 per hour.Fully licensed bar available. Kitchen area available. Ideal for birthday parties, christenings, weddings, classes and much more.

Village Sewing Bees
We are ready to welcome new members to our sewing class.
We cover pattern cutting, altering a pattern to fit, taking a pattern from existing clothes, alterations and of course sewing our first projects. Our aim is to introduce you gently to easy starter projects, fabric choices and when you feel comfortable, to help with bigger projects.
If you just want to learn your way around a sewing machine and maybe make a bag or two. That is good too.
July will be our inspirational Month, a great time to join our lovely Bees.
We have plenty of fabric for you to practice on and scissors etc for you.
We will guide you as to what we need in a basic sewing kit.
We do have some patterns for you to look at and use.
Our Classes are weekly and only cost £5 a week.
If you would like to bring your own machine that will be great but we do have machines for your use.
