Sandhole Oak Barn is a beautifully designed wedding barn, set in rolling Cheshire countryside. With landscaped gardens and a spacious veranda overlooking a large tranquil lake, it is the perfect setting for your wedding. Civil ceremonies can take place in the barn or by the lake under the clock tower (March to October), and the barn can seat up to 150 guests for your wedding reception.

Food safety is our top priority, but that doesn’t mean guests with allergies have to miss out on an incredible dining experience! From canapés to cocktails, we’ll make sure that your most vulnerable guests can enjoy every moment of your day with complete confidence.

Our team is fully trained in allergen awareness and safety, and we’ll work closely with you to understand exactly what your guests need. Our allergen-free menu features a range of dishes free from all 14 regulated allergens, we can offer a bespoke allergen menu service to keep you and your guests safe.

Celebrated every year on 30th March, Cheshire Day shines a spotlight on everything that makes this county such a special place to live, work and explore. The date itself commemorates the charter of liberties granted to Cheshire by King Edward I in 1300 - often described as the county’s own Magna Carta.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and overlooking the lake, Sandhole Oak Barn is proud to be part of Cheshire’s landscape and the many celebrations that take place here.

Today we’re celebrating everything that’s Made in Cheshire - from its stunning scenery and rich heritage to the unforgettable wedding days shared here.
