Hello everyone!

Isaac and Keri here from the exciting new Gorse Café, soon to open at the beautiful Comrie Croft—and we honestly can’t wait to meet you all!

For those of you who knew, loved, and regularly visited the Tea Garden here, you’ll know what a huge responsibility taking the baton from Ally is. Everyone we’ve spoken to reminds us how much of a rock-solid pillar she was in the Crofter community. Thanks to her, we’re stepping into a thriving space, with so many of you eagerly waiting for us to reopen!

A little about us: we’re the new café managers—Isaac is a barista who loves connecting with people (and brewing a tasty cup of wake-up juice ☕️), and Keri is a baker with a passion for flavourful, seasonal food that looks as good as it tastes 🎂🌿. More than anything, we’re just two people who really care about building something special—and you’ll be a huge part of that.✨

So follow along, say hi, and come on this journey with us as we create a magical little place at Comrie Croft.

We want to take a moment to shout out to two incredibly hardworking volunteers, Miora and Hilary, who keep Comrie Croft looking absolutely beautiful all year round. From keeping the wedding courtyard pots beautifully planted to ensuring the whole Croft is full of life, your dedication truly makes all the difference. 🌱

Back in October, a group of volunteers led by Moria and Hilary took on the huge task of planting 5,000 daffodils along our drive – a massive job that will give all of the Croft visitors a bright welcome! 🌼

This is especially exciting for us as the drive has always been a popular spot for our couples to capture some wedding photos. We are already blessed to have the beautiful hills in the background, now with the added pop of colour the daffodils will bring - we cannot wait to see the photos!

To all our volunteers, your hard work and passion for keeping the Croft in top shape do not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our team.

Thank you for everything you do! You are a huge part of what makes Comrie Croft so special. 💚

Ooo, what is this appearing in the front field? It's going to be our new all abilities multi-use trail!!! It's going to be a trail for everyone...

And it's also the first step towards making the field more beautiful, biodiverse and productive, with small fields in between the trail, hedgerows, trees and permaculture/agro-forestry activities. Maybe even a Hielan Coo to two!!
