Putting my face on here again because although I’m not overly comfortable with it, being a small business owner isn’t just about the flower creativity. It also means being a content creator, photographer, marketing manager and part-time algorithm whisperer… so I thought I’d share a few photos and things that you possibly won’t know about me.

I’m mum to two grown-up kids, Callum and Ebony and wife to Chris, my biggest cheerleader, who often happens to be my unpaid van loader, driver, installations engineer, and set up assistant - he definitely didn’t sign up for that ….. all perks of being married to me!

I’m dog mum to Bleu, our blue roan cocker spaniel, who keeps me company and probably knows he’s the real boss.

Before life became flowers, I was a ‘bit of a runner’. I’ve pounded the streets and hills around East Lancashire quite a lot over the years and I’ve completed the Great North Run and both the Manchester and London Marathons.

These days, you’ll usually find me in my flower studio…

Creating for weddings, funerals, special occasions and coming up with new ideas or planning my next workshop.

So just a little bit about me .. I could go on about a love of Prosecco and gin.. and food .. and holidays but I’ll spare you those. Thank you if you’ve made it this far, 😅… the next post will definitely be about flowers, Marie xx

October feels… the air is crisper and the leaves are starting to glow copper. So it’s time for fresh Autumn wreaths… the eucalyptus smell, the warm colours … with gorgeous and locally grown hydrangeas.

October edition 🍂

The weddings are starting to ease off… although they’re not quite done until December!

So this month I’m turning my attention to cosy season — think rich berry tones, autumnal florals; pumpkins and, of course, plenty of wreaths. 🍁

I’m also busy planning my 🌲wreath workshops, ( notice I haven’t said the word 🤭) so if you fancy getting creative, watch this space… x

The ‘ber’ months might be here and I do love Autumn and all its colours. It’s such a welcome to see Autumn flowers making an appearance, alongside candlelight and warm jumpers (not the 🕷️ though) … but honestly there’s always a square on my grid for a white and green bouquet. I never get bored of them. 🤍
