🎂 SIS & CO IS ONE. 🎂

One year ago today, we opened the doors.

We had a new name above the door, a little café, a team ready to give it everything and absolutely no idea what the next 12 months were going to look like.

And what a bloody year it’s been.

You came in.
Then you came back.
Then you brought your friends.

You ordered breakfasts, butties, coffees, cakes and an frankly unreasonable amount of loaded fries and breakfast burritos. 😂

We found our feet.

We built a team.

We got busier.

Breakfast became lunch.
Lunch became catering.
Catering became events.

There have been ridiculously early mornings, completely buried ticket rails, sell-outs, mistakes, belly laughs, stressful days, brilliant days and plenty of moments where we’ve looked around and thought…

How has this become OUR life?!

And somewhere amongst all of that, this little café became Sis & Co.

Then, because apparently running one hospitality business wasn’t quite enough for us…

We picked up another set of keys. 🔑

And before we’d even managed to put the first candle on the café’s birthday cake, The Bistro by Sis & Co was born.

One year.
Two sites.
One incredible team.
And thousands and thousands of you through our doors.

That last part is the bit that matters most.

Because none of this happens without the people who chose to give us a go.

Every coffee. Every breakfast. Every takeaway. Every catering order. Every review. Every recommendation. Every tag, share and “you need to try this place.”

You built this with us.

To our team, past and present, who have worked their arses off, laughed through the chaos and helped turn an idea into something real, thank you.

To our families, suppliers, friends and everyone who’s backed us behind the scenes, thank you.

And to every single person who’s walked through that little door over the last 365 days…

We’re unbelievably proud of what Year One became.

But looking at everything that’s happened already, we can’t help wondering…

What the hell are we going to do in Year Two? 👀

❤️ Tomorrow is a huge day for us…

After months of planning, renovating, late nights and a lot of hard work, The Bistro by Sis & Co opens its doors for the very first time tomorrow morning.

To make sure we can all be there to support our new team and give the bistro the grand opening it deserves, Sis & Co Café will be CLOSED tomorrow (Saturday).

We know this may be a little inconvenience for our regular café customers, but we hope you’ll understand why this day means so much to us.

If you’re free, we’d absolutely love to see some familiar faces over at The Bistro by Sis & Co from 8:30am. Your support has helped us get to this point, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.

A brand new chapter for our little family business, created with so much love, late nights, hard work, and probably far too much coffee.

This isn’t replacing Sis & Co Cafe. It’s something completely different.

Think relaxed brunches, beautiful lunches, incredible coffee, artisan bakes, and a space you’ll want to linger in just that little bit longer.

Every colour, every detail, every dish has been chosen with one goal…
To create somewhere Colne can be proud of.

To everyone who’s followed the clues, shared our posts, guessed the location, and cheered us on from day one… thank you. You’ve made this journey even more exciting than we ever imagined.

The paper’s down.
The sign is up.
And we cannot wait to welcome you through the doors.

✨ THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER… ✨

We’ve loved every wild guess, every detective theory, every “we know where you are!” comment… 👀

But now… the countdown is on.

⏰ Just ONE more sleep until the secret is finally revealed.

Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing the reveal across our social media, and for the first time you’ll get to see exactly what we’ve been pouring our hearts into over the last few months.

The mystery ends tomorrow… and we honestly can’t wait to show you. ❤️

Another piece of the puzzle is in place. ☕

Our coffee machine was fitted yesterday, and the space is finally starting to come alive.

Soon this will be pouring flat whites, cappuccinos, iced lattes, matcha and a few signature creations of our own.

We’re getting closer.

Opening Saturday 1st August.

It’s still not what you think.

Holding these keys feels pretty surreal.

Nine months ago we unlocked the doors to Sis & Co Café. We never imagined we’d be unlocking another so soon.

But before you all start saying…

“It’s a café…”

It isn’t.

“It’s a restaurant…”

Not quite.

“It’s a bistro…”

You’re getting warmer…

It’s still not what you think.

It’s something different.
Something we’ve never seen in Colne before.
Something we’ve poured every bit of ourselves into.

The windows might still be covered…
The paint is still drying…
And there’s a lot more to reveal.
