I have tears every time I see this! I have even more tears this year for the needless deaths this past few days that maybe, just maybe, a little bit of education would have made a huge difference.

Literally a difference between life and death.

I got vilified by some for photographing events as they unfolded when I heard the shouts from the res. I was actually wondering what was happening and used my camera with its zoom as binoculars. Those photos have been used in numerous water safety campaigns now and helped the police piece together the events. If these pics have saved just one person then that’s good enough for me but I’m sure they’ve helped educate more!

Please educate your children and teens. It’s really not worth not doing.

I absolutely love the variety this job brings. One day it's muddy touchlines, flying tackles and last-minute winners, the next it's beautifully crafted food, chefs doing their thing and me trying very hard not to eat the props before I've photographed them 😏

Still feels a bit mad seeing my work in print and I never take any of it for granted ❤️
