This coming Tuesday, East Lancs Slot Racing Club will be hosting a Group C endurance race night here Raceway Scalextric Events

If you have Slot it Group C Car and fancy coming along and joining us for an evening,
If you haven't got a team mate don't worry we can arrange it on the night and pair you up with someone.

Next Friday is Junior Race night.

Its the final round series 1 before we reset the points for series 2.

This weekend we hosted a birthday party for Alfie and his Friends. Alfie's big Brother Noah had his party here in January and little brother Alfie wanted to come back and do the same.

It was a great party with all 8 boys full of energy and enthusiasm. This finals were fun to watch and the heats were exciting keeping the marshals busy.

Hope you had a great time Alfie and have a great birthday!

Friday was round 5 of the Junior series. Hugo took the win overall and in the Mag Class followed by Ray in second and Matthew in 3rd.

All three of these drivers are showing good speed and may progress up to the Non Magnet class in the coming months.

In The Non Mag Class It was Leighton, Jasper and Dexter Top 3 with 4th place Jenson just behind.

Round 6 is coming soon and will be the final one for Junior Series 1.

Pizza night was a busy one this month with 27 racing on Friday evening.

Thank you to all that booked in and came along and we hope you all had a great time.

Last Friday was race night number 4 of the Junior Race series.

Here are the results.

Well done to Ray Mitchell for taking his first win in the Mag Class and to Jasper for his first win of the season in the Pro Non Mag Class.

Next meeting is on Friday April the 11th. Make note and come along and see us and join in.

Last Weekend we entered 3 teams into a Group C endurance race organised by East Lancs Slot Racing Club here at Northern Raceway Scalextric Events.
7 Teams in total raced 50 minutes per lane totaling 3 hours 20 minutes race time for each team.

Team Northern Raceway finished 2nd with Nick Hirst running along side Team Mate Jon Davies making his Endurance Debut.

The Second Team was Redline Racing Made up of Leighton Hirst and Junior racer Jasper. Jasper has taken part in an Enduro race previously with us in 2024 at South Manchester Slot Racing Club and showed his experience, with both drivers running very well and constantly, bring their car home in 3rd place.

Our 3rd Team was the 'J Dogs' made up of Father and Son duo. Paul & Jenon.
Jenson is a relatively new racer and currently in his rookie season. He is defiantly a star of the future and one to watch. Currently racing in the Pro Junior Class and pairing up with his dad Paul in the GT3 series they make a great team.
Paul is getting good at building and prepping cars now and is really enthusiastic and improving all the time with more track time.
It was brilliant to see the 'J Dog' Team take part in this event and we hope to see more of them in the future.

It was an enjoyable day with some good racing.

Friday Was round 2 of the 2025 GT3 Team Enduro Race series.

9 Teams took to the track for some Great racing.

The Monster Energy team made up of Luke and his Son Casey made their debut. Casey only 7 years old did extremely well putting in some consistent race stints.

Other notable drivers were Matthew of Team M&S racing also raced really well and put in some good solid stints and was also very consistant.

This time we missed Oli and Dave from Team Blazing Baldwins as they couldn't make this one.

We also had Jasper who forms part of Redline Racing Team with Leighton unable to attend and Dexter who is the better half of the 2 fast 2 furious team. not being able to make it either.

Both teams had stand in drivers for this round.

2 Fast 2 Furious formed up with Tim and his Friend Davin who replaced Dexter for this round.

Red Line racing was made up of the usual driver Leighton who Teamed up with Andrew Wainman for his first go at the GT3 series.

Also Team Northern Raceway made their Debut. Nick Hirst Teamed up with Seb for his first time racing the GT3 cars.

Seb is son of Simon and Nephew of Jon who make up the Blues brothers.

Next meeting is on May the 23rd. See you there!

April is nearly upon us and that means Race & Pizza night!
