Please be aware of the current roadworks when visiting the Memorial Hall

🚨 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗 (𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠) 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦

Northern Powergrid have begun urgent works today on A659 Harewood Road in Collingham to repair a low voltage mains cable fault.

The Harewood Road junction with A58 Main Street - just east of Cromwells Pub - is closed.

Access is maintained by the limited Mill Lane on the western side of Tesco Express.

Connecting Leeds expect works to take 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 days.

A diversion route is signed via A58 Leeds/Wetherby Road, A6120 Ring Road Shadwell, A61 Harrogate Road, A659 Harewood Avenue and vice versa.

Traffic was backed up and onto Wattle Syke this morning, so we would advise you at least try to avoid the route at peak times.
